Working hard to remove snow out of the sidewalk

In North America, people work very hard to remove the snow out of the sidewalk and of their house. It is the law in North America and also is their duties. Look this man in the video, he was working to clean snow in front of his house. Almost everyone went to bed but he was still working alone. At that night, I could not sleep because it was very cold about minus something( I don't know).

I sat and looked from my bedroom window in the quiet night but sometimes I saw a few cars coming. However, it was more quiet traffic than other night; whenever there was snow, the traffic became slowdown and quiet. Anyway, I like playing with the snow because I feel fresh and happy.....
